Bike Rides

Thanks to Challenge Alaska for leading the Summer Bike Rides for 2017!
 
Time: Tuesday evenings from 6:30 – 8:00 pm

Adaptive cycles will be available with advance arrangements and subject to availability.

All people participating in Challenge Alaska group rides MUST HAVE a current liability waiver on file (signed within the past year), must wear a cycling helmet at all times, and agree to follow riding etiquette/rules of the road.

The ride locations are subject to change and are as follows:
  • June 6 – Bartlett High School (pool/gym side). Out and back to/toward Eagle River weigh station.
  • June 13 – Point Woronzof parking lot. Ride toward/to Kincaid Park.
  • June 20 – Goose Lake parking lot. Ride toward ANMC Campus, Peanut Farm and back.
  • June 27 – Bartlett High School (pool/gym side). Out and back to/toward Eagle River weigh station.
  • July 11 – Point Woronzof parking lot. Ride toward/to Kincaid Park.
  • July 18 – Goose Lake parking lot. Ride toward ANMC Campus, Peanut Farm and back.
  • July 25 – Bartlett High School (pool/gym side). Out and back to/toward Eagle River weigh station.
  • August 1 – Point Woronzof parking lot. Ride toward/to Kincaid Park.
  • August 8 – Goose Lake parking lot. Ride toward ANMC Campus, Peanut Farm and back.

 

Must have own bicycle and helmet.

Bring water bottle and dress for changes in the weather.
